If I cry for you it’s only because I love you so much. You are the number one person in my life, the original subject of the “who’s your hero” essays from elementary. Your love has never faltered nor failed. I may tell others they’re my favorite but you are truly the rightful owner of that title. If there was one wish I could appoint higher than the rest, one prayer I could place directly in front of God, it would be the plea for your happiness. I don’t want your life to have to be so hard. Happiness is the only thing we really need from living because in the end all the cliches are true. Neither money nor fame will matter. Only happiness. And if you can’t find it then this world is too cruel.
God could not—would not—be so cruel.
